About the Author
Stephanie Mason, a first-time mum living in north-west London, gave birth to her daughter during the first Covid-19 lockdown of 2020. A love of horses was instilled in Stephanie by her father, when she began riding at the age of 5. This inspired her very first children’s book.
Ensuring her daughter always has the self-belief to accomplish everything she wants is vital to Stephanie, and this formed the foundation for JoJo's story. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and family, cooking, enjoying the countryside and watching nature documentaries.
About the Illustrator
Natalie Merheb was born one snowy, wintry night in the far north of the United States. As a child, she spent most of her time colouring and painting. Following in the footsteps of many artists in her family, Natalie studied fine art at university before spending several years working in graphic design
